Universal Epic Universe Debuting New Nighttime Spectacular This Summer
Guests visiting Universal Epic Universe this summer will soon have a brand-new way to end their day.
Beginning July 7, Universal Orlando Resort will debut Universal Celestial Goodnight, a new nighttime spectacular designed to transform Celestial Park into a dazzling celebration of the worlds and characters that make up Epic Universe.
The new show will take place nightly and feature a combination of choreographed fountains, immersive lighting effects, original music, and a fireworks finale that will light up the skies above the park.
According to Universal, the spectacular will serve as a tribute to the adventures guests experience throughout Epic Universe. Fans can expect nods to each of the park’s immersive lands, including Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic, and Dark Universe.
The scale of the production is impressive. Universal says the show utilizes nearly 600 synchronized lighting fixtures, more than 350 fountains, and over seven million LED lights woven throughout Celestial Park. The experience will stretch across the entire area, with lighting, water effects, music, and fireworks working together to create a park-wide finale.
Universal Celestial Goodnight is being developed by Universal’s award-winning entertainment team and appears to be the resort’s answer to a growing demand for nighttime entertainment at Epic Universe. Since the park opened, many guests have noted the beauty of Celestial Park after dark, making it a natural setting for a large-scale nighttime spectacular.
For visitors planning a trip to Epic Universe this summer, July 7 marks the beginning of what could quickly become one of the park’s must-see experiences.
Universal Celestial Goodnight will be presented nightly at Universal Epic Universe beginning July 7, 2026.
