Three BRAND NEW Adventures By Disney Destinations!
Adventures by Disney has announced three brand new destinations to travel to, including Columbia, The Canadian Maritimes and New Zealand! I give you the rundown of what you can expect to do on each expedition.
Adventures by Disney Adds Three Incredible New Destinations
Adventures by Disney has officially added three brand-new destinations to its lineup, bringing the total number of adventures around the world to more than 40.
And honestly? These aren’t just vacations.
They’re the kind of trips that make your regular beach itinerary quietly pack its bags and leave the chat.
The three newest additions are:
Colombia
The Canadian Maritimes
New Zealand
If you’ve never looked into Adventures by Disney before, the idea is pretty simple: Disney creates fully curated travel experiences around the world that blend local culture, incredible excursions, unique access, and family-friendly experiences into one giant “we’re never going to forget this” package.
And these new trips sound stacked.
Take a Trip to Colombia
The headline destination among the three new additions is easily Colombia, where Disney has created an eight-day adventure inspired by Encanto.
Which honestly feels like the most natural crossover imaginable.
During the trip, guests will:
Learn how to make arepas in Bogotá
Take guided tours through the city
Explore Colombia’s famous coffee region
Learn how to play Tejo, the game featured in Encanto
Hike through conservation areas searching for endangered cotton-top tamarins
Snorkel around the Rosario Islands
Experience local culture, food, and wildlife throughout the journey
It sounds less like a vacation itinerary and more like somebody fed “core memory generator” directly into Disney’s planning department.
Welcome to Canada!
Next up is the Canadian Maritimes adventure.
Now technically this isn’t exactly my neck of the woods since Canada is approximately the size of several planets stitched together, but still… welcome to Canada 🇨🇦
This eight-day trip takes guests through:
Nova Scotia
Prince Edward Island
New Brunswick
And Disney really leaned into the iconic East Coast experiences here.
Guests will:
Visit a maple farm
Take a ferry to Prince Edward Island
Explore a 150-year-old lighthouse
Visit the inspiration behind Avonlea Village from Anne of Green Gables
Have tea with a descendant of Lucy Maud Montgomery
Go lobster fishing on an actual lobster boat
Explore the Bay of Fundy by kayak, bike, or horseback
Watch the legendary Atlantic tides roll in across the salt marshes of Nova Scotia
And this one actually hit me with a bit of nostalgia.
When I was around four or five years old, my family took trips through parts of the Maritimes. I remember riding the ferry to Prince Edward Island and seeing the Atlantic tides firsthand.
It’s a stunning part of the country.
Quietly beautiful in that windswept, lighthouse-on-the-edge-of-the-world kind of way.
And knowing Disney is curating the experience means every detail is probably going to be polished within an inch of its life.
12 Whole Days in New Zealand?!
Then there’s the absolute unit of the bunch: a 12-day New Zealand adventure.
And Disney is not wasting a single second of those twelve days.
The journey begins in Auckland, where guests will:
Sail aboard a real America’s Cup racing boat
Enjoy a private after-hours tour of the Auckland Zoo
Explore glowworm caves illuminated by bioluminescence
Learn Māori legends connected to the caves and ancient discoveries
From there, things somehow become even more cinematic.
Other experiences include:
Visiting a kiwi hatchery
Touring a 350-acre sheep farm
Watching sheep shearing demonstrations
Ziplining through the Rotorua forest canopy
Visiting geothermal parks filled with geysers and bubbling mud
Taking a flat-bottom riverboat cruise
Riding a scenic train between Christchurch and Greymouth
Hiking through the Franz Josef Glacier Valley rainforest
Seeing the incredible views around Lake Wānaka
Taking an adrenaline-fueled jet boat tour
Honestly, at some point this stops sounding like a vacation and starts sounding like the opening montage of a fantasy adventure film.
Fun for the Kids… and the Adults
One of the cool things Adventures by Disney does, much like Disney Cruise Line, is create separate experiences for both kids and adults throughout the trip.
Kids get their own activities like:
Scavenger hunts
Games
Movie nights
Interactive adventures
Meanwhile adults can enjoy quieter evenings, dinners, and experiences on their own.
It’s basically Disney acknowledging that sometimes parents would also enjoy sitting still for twelve consecutive minutes.
When Can You Book?
If any of these trips are calling your name louder than a Disney fireworks soundtrack, booking opens to the general public on May 12th.
However, there are a few early access dates:
May 9th: Guests who have completed three or more Adventures by Disney trips
May 10th: Anyone who has previously traveled with Adventures by Disney
May 11th: Members of Disney Vacation Club, Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club, and Golden Oak residents
So if you qualify for any of those categories, congratulations, you get a FastPass to the booking line.
…Too soon?
What’s Included?
One of the best parts of Adventures by Disney is that a huge amount of the trip is bundled into the overall price.
That includes:
Hotels
Transportation throughout the destination
Most meals
Admission fees
Guided tours
Included experiences and excursions
Which means a lot less stress trying to coordinate logistics and a lot more time actually enjoying the trip.
And honestly, that’s kind of Disney’s whole superpower.
Final Thoughts
These three new Adventures by Disney destinations all feel wildly different from one another, but that’s what makes the lineup so exciting.
You can:
Explore the vibrant culture and landscapes of Colombia
Experience the coastal beauty and charm of Eastern Canada
Dive headfirst into the cinematic natural wonder of New Zealand
And in classic Disney fashion, every itinerary sounds carefully designed to create those “I cannot believe this is happening right now” moments.
Not gonna lie though…
The New Zealand trip has me dangerously close to pricing airline tickets while pretending I’m just “researching.”
