Disney Jollywood Nights Returns for 2026 With More Dates Than Ever
Disney's glitziest holiday party is coming back for another season, and this year it's sticking around longer than ever.
Disney has officially announced the return of Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios, with the after-hours holiday event running on select nights from November 7, 2026, through January 5, 2027. That's the longest season yet for the relatively new holiday party, marking the first time Jollywood Nights has extended into January.
Since debuting in 2023, Jollywood Nights has evolved from an event that struggled to find its footing into one of Walt Disney World's most talked-about holiday offerings. In fact, many Disney fans now argue that it's the better holiday party experience for adults, thanks to its entertainment lineup, lower crowds, and unique atmosphere.
What Is Disney Jollywood Nights?
Unlike Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which leans heavily into traditional Disney Christmas nostalgia, Jollywood Nights embraces the glamour of old Hollywood.
The separately ticketed event transforms Disney's Hollywood Studios into a festive celebration filled with live entertainment, specialty food and beverages, rare character appearances, holiday décor, and access to many of the park's most popular attractions with typically shorter wait times.
Guests can enter the park as early as 5:30 p.m., with the event officially running from 7:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m.
Disney confirmed the return of several fan-favorite entertainment offerings, including Disney Holidays in Hollywood, hosted by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, this stage show combines holiday music, Disney characters, live performers, and a classic Hollywood television special vibe.
What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along is one of the event's most unique offerings returns to the Hyperion Theater, allowing guests to sing along with Jack Skellington and friends while experiencing the collision of Halloween and Christmas. Glisten!, the skating spectacular in front of the Chinese Theatre returns with professional skaters, holiday music, projections, and Art Deco-inspired holiday style. You can end your night with Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM, Hollywood Studios' holiday fireworks spectacular is also returning, featuring projections, lasers, fireworks, and scenes from beloved Disney holiday favorites.
Rare Characters Continue to Be a Major Draw
One area where Jollywood Nights continues to separate itself from other Disney holiday events is character meet-and-greets.
Disney has already confirmed appearances from fan favorites including:
Phineas and Ferb
Max Goof as Powerline
Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers
Stitch dressed as Santa
The Mandalorian and Grogu
Life Day Chewbacca
Bing Bong
Duffy
Scrooge McDuck
Partysaurus Rex
And Disney says more characters will be announced as the season approaches.
Popular Attractions Will Be Open
Several of Hollywood Studios' headline attractions will also operate during the event, including:
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Slinky Dog Dash
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway
Tower of Terror
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets
For many guests, the ability to enjoy these attractions with significantly lower wait times becomes one of the event's biggest advantages.
Guests staying at eligible Walt Disney World Resort hotels, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets beginning July 9, while General ticket sales open July 16. Disney Vacation Club Members and Annual Passholders will once again receive discounts on all event nights.
Jollywood Nights looks to be coming into its own, crawling out of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party’s shadow and becoming its own thing, a stylish, somewhat more relaxed event that is a fantastic alternative for adults.
